The Strangest Toys in the World

Today, only an adult who had such a toy in his childhood would be happy to receive a classic teddy bear toy. Modern kids demand unusual and even exotic toys. The strangest toys can be found on the shelves of Japanese stores: Spider Man with an outfit of basketball player, a plastic fish that can be gutted and reassembled, a zombie Barbie, a Barbie in a coffin, a fat Barbie or Barbie who suffers from anorexia. But these are just the tip of the iceberg of all the unusual things made for kids.

Toys Without Any Logic

In Japan, you can order a doll that looks like you for $200. Also, you can buy a plastic copy of a breastfeeding baby, which not only knows how to ask for a breast, but also imitates the process of milk sucking. The most interesting thing is that the doll is designed to suck the real breast of the little “mother”. Such a toy costs $118.

The disgusting toys are also on top in Japan. One of them is a white baby hat with blood stains on the head and a protruding ax or with a caterpillar on the head. Another Japanese toy is a small bullying box in which it is suggested to insert a finger and move it inside. Finger movements are recorded by a special sensor, they are digitized and transmitted to the LCD screen. There are several games installed: a child is offered to mock a little man, a panda, or to point a finger at the face of a little girl.

The second place in the list of the most expensive toys is occupied by the small Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4. This toy car model, made at a scale of 1: 8, costs $4.7 million, which is 12 times more than the original car. An exact replica of the genuine Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 was made by hand in 2011 by designer Robert Gulpen. The body of the miniature car is made of modern material carbon with gold inserts. The wheels are made of platinum and gold, and the headlights and seats are decorated with diamonds.

The most expensive toy in the world is the mechanical doll called L’oiseleur, which costs $6.25 million. The toy was made by Swiss designer Christian Bailly from 2340 parts of 15,000 watches. The doll weighs 55 kg and is 120 cm tall. It is dressed in luxurious Renaissance clothing made of silk, satin, and velvet. Its face, legs, and arms were made of porcelain. The doll knows how to play the flute. Playing the flute, the doll bends to the audience, making very realistic movements in the mouth and eyes.
